Grantham House was originally purchased in the 1990s as a commercial property investment. The ground floor had been occupied by a luxury Scandinavian furniture retailer with mid specification offices above. The decline in local office markets in the early 2000s presented the opportunity to convert the upper floors to residential. The refurbishment programme was completed on time and under budget and the 9 luxury flats proved extremely popular. This project paved the way for the conversion of a number of other commercial properties held within the portfolio.
